Telehealth Resources for COVID-19

The global spread of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has created a new use for telehealth care. We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Amwell to deliver a screening and treatment service for this new disease. After completing your COVID-19 screening, if the provider feels that further evaluation or testing is needed, you will be referred to the Emergency Room or our COVID Hotline. The COVID Hotline will be open Monday through Friday from 8am - 4:30pm.

This screening is provided for free to those who are concerned about their coronavirus symptoms. To see a virtual provider about concerns unrelated to COVID-19, we now offer virtual provider options for all of our medical offices and specialty areas. For a list of providers visit our Locations page.

How to sign up on Desktop

  1. Visit: chesapeakeregional.amwell.com
  2. Fill out your name, email, create a password and click the green Sign up button.
  3. Fill out your location, birthday, and gender and click Continue.
  4. Enter the Service Key: ChesapeakeRegional.
  5. Click Finish.
  6. Choose a provider and enter the necessary fields.
    1. If you are currently in a different location than the one you entered in step 2, go to top of page, click Location and update before selecting your provider.
  7. You will connect with enhanced video and see the provider in high definition.

How to sign up on Mobile

  1. Search the App Store or Google Play for Amwell. 
    1. Download the Amwell app.
    2. Tap Sign Up for Amwell at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Fill out your personal information, your email and create a password.
  3. Agree to the Terms of Use.
  4. Enter the Service Key: ChesapeakeRegional.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Choose a provider, then enter the necessary payment information. 
    1. If you are currently in a different physical location than the one you entered during sign-up, update your location by going to the More option at the bottom of the screen then My Location.
  7. Enter your visit information and begin your visit!
